UPDATE: MIDDLE TWP. COPS BUST ONE IN CEMETERY INCIDENT

Middle Township PoliceAt approximately 12 Noon on this date, Officers of the Middle Township Police Department observed a 1997 White Ford Expedition behind a residence on Goshen Road in Cape May Court House.  Investigation revealed that the vehicle was the one involved in damaging several headstones at the Baptist Cemetery on Church Street.  The driver of the vehicle, Wade Moore age 28 of Goshen Road, was believed to be intoxicated at the time of the accident.  Moore did not deliberately damage the property.  Moore was charged with several motor vehicle offenses including Leaving the scene of an Accident, Failure to Report an Accident, Driving While Suspended, Careless Driving and Having an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  Corporal Fran Fiore investigated.
