UNWANTED PRESCRIPTION DRUGS TO BE COLLECTED IN LOWER TOWNSHIP

Lower_Township_PoliceLower Township will be participating in Operation Take Back. Its an annual event to get unwanted prescription medication out of homes. The event will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Lower Township residents and visitors can turn over any unwanted or expired prescription medications that they may have in their medicine cabinets, in the main lobby of the Lower Township Public Safety Building located in the Cape May County Airport Complex off of Breakwater Road in the township’s Erma Section.

Last year over 400 Law Enforcement Agencies in New Jersey helped to collect over 14,436 pounds of Prescription and over the counter medicine collected.
