UNOFFICIAL STORM REPORTS: WINDOWS BLOWN OUT OF VILLAS HOME

A severe line of thunderstorms that rolled through Cape May County Tuesday afternoon has left damage in its path.  Unofficial storm spotters report a home in Villas with windows blown out, numerous trees and power outages throughout Middle Township, and reports of 80mph winds in southern Cape May County.  Local fire departments are responding to calls throughout the County, many of them related to the storm.  Hail has also been reported as a result of this storm.  A tornado warning was posted by the National Weather Service; as of 4:13pm, there are no reports of confirmed tornadoes in the County.  The tornado warning has since expired.
