UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DROPS, JOBS ADDED IN JUNE

New Jersey saw more jobs and a better unemployment rate last month. New state figures came out and the state added nearly 10,000 jobs and the new unemployment rate in the state is 6.6 percent. The job gains were led by the private sector, as public sector jobs decreased by about 2,200. The only main private sector that took a hit in June was construction, according to the data.
