UNEMPLOYMENT RATE CONTINUES TO DIP

The unemployment rate is continuing to improve in the state. The rate dropped two-tenths to 9.2 percent. Private sector employment is on the rise, while public sector work has been dropping. New Jersey is four-tenths better than the national average which sits at 9.6 percent. The numbers were released by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
