TWO LOCAL COMMUNITIES CONSIDER ELECTION DATE SWITCH

Local communities are considering a move to November elections. Wildwood voters approved a non-binding ballot question asking them if they would move their election date to November. Ocean City is also considering the move. The issue was discussed during a city council meeting on Thursday. The plan would allow towns to save money by holding their typical May election to November. Wildwood commissioners have the option of voting to approve what the voters want.
