TWO MORE HUGE AIRPORT GRANTS ANNOUNCED FOR AREA

It was another good day for aviation grants. Congressman Frank LoBiondo announced $1,050,000 in federal funding from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to Cape May County for their county airport and $2,055,120 to the City of Millville for their municipal airport. The funding will go towards the rehabilitation of runways and terminal aprons, as well as taxiway extensions and additional apron construction. The federal funding is awarded from the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program. Eligible projects include those improvements related to enhancing airport safety, capacity, security, and environmental concerns.
