TWO CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER IN LOWER TWP. HOME INVASION

Three people have been charged, two of them with attempted murder, in connection with a home invasion crime in Lower Township earlier this fall.  Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland announced that 19 year old Jeramy Thompson-Pierce of  Vineland and 20 year old Michael Woods Jr. were both charged with attempted murder.  The pair and another suspect are all charged in connection with a home invasion at a home on Old Mill Road in North Cape May that seriously injured 50 year old Barry Van Orden.  All three suspects face multiple years in prison, if convicted.
