TWO C.A.L. BASEBALL TEAMS FALL SHORT IN STATE TITLE GAMES

Two baseball teams from the Cape-Atlantic League lost in their state championship games on Saturday. Ocean City High School lost 7-2 to Northern Highlands Regional in the Group III final. The Red Raiders fell behind 6-0 after three innings and could not recover. St. Augustine Prep lost to Seton Hall Prep 4-2 in the state Non-Public A championship game. The Hermits had two base runners thrown out in the seventh and final inning.
