TUESDAY STORM: SNOW, SLEET, FREEZING RAIN, AND RAIN FOR US

The next big storm that will come to Cape May County arrives Tuesday, but now forecasters are pulling back on a major snow event for the Jersey Shore.  The National Weather Service now predicts that a combination of snow, rain, freezing rain and sleet will all be part of the next storm that should arrive early Tuesday morning and leave Wednesday morning.  There’s been a lot of talk about a storm that could dump two feet of snow on the region, but the call today is for a mixture of precipitation and no major snowfall.  We’ll have sunshine Sunday and Monday, with clouds moving in on Tuesday with snow starting late Tuesday morning, changing to rain Tuesday night, and ending as snow on Wednesday morning.  There’s no call yet on how much snow our region will see.  A very heavy snowfall is expected in North Jersey.
