TRUCKS COULD BE HEADING NORTH ON PARKWAY

Trucks could bring in additional revenue to the state. The Star-Ledger reports that the state is looking at allowing trucks on the Garden State Parkway north of Exit 105. Trucks are not allowed on that part of the roadway heading north, but it could bring additional toll revenue to New Jersey. A feasibility study is being done, because of concerns that the roadway and bridges that sit on the Parkway may not be able to handle commercial trucks.
