TRENTON-MERCER AIRPORT COULD SHUT DOWN WITH BUDGET CUTS

The Trenton airport could be closing if massive federal budget cuts are enacted. If no budget deal is reached by the month, the Trenton-Mercer airport is one of those that is scheduled to be closed due to massive federal budget cuts known as the sequestration. A number of smaller airports are set to be closed across the country, including Trenton-Mercer. Frontier Airlines was schedule to move all of its Philadelphia operations over to Trenton in April.
