TRAINING SESSION TO BE HELD AT PLEASANTVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

Members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the Pleasantville Police Department and several other local police departments, as well as the Office of Emergency Management, the Atlantic County Emergency Response Team and Hostage Negotiation Teams will be conducting a training exercise in Pleasantville on June 28. The exercise is designed to test how local, county and state law enforcement handle a simulated critical school incident. It will take place fro 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

It will take place at the Pleasantville High School/Middle School Complex which is located at 701-801 Mill Road in Pleasantville. A staging area for the event will be located at the Greyhound Maintenance Garage at 711 N. New Road in Pleasantville. Residents could expect to see emergency vehicles at that location.
