TOURISM EVENT THURSDAY AT PARKWAY REST AREA

Various tourism industry leaders in Cape May County will be attending a major tourism event Thursday at the Ocean View Welcome Center on the Garden State Parkway.  Tourism and business leaders will help kick off the 2010 tourism season by providing information about many of the vacation destinations in Cape May County.  More than 19 million visitors come to Cape May County each year, generating over $5 billion in tourism related expenditures.  The welcome center hosted more than 66,000 people in 2009, and helped them find lodging, restaurants, and various attractions.
