TOURISM DISTRICT PLAN MOVES FORWARD

A big step forward took place on Tuesday to redevelop Atlantic City. The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority approved a plan that would put nearly half of the city in a tourism district. The district was established to help the growth of the resort as a destination. The CRDA will be in charge of planning and zoning in that area of the city. This portion of the city will operate similar to a special improvement district.
