TOURISM CONFERENCE SET TO KICK OFF IN ATLANTIC CITY

Area tourism officials will be in Atlantic City this week for the Governor’s Tourism Conference. The conference will be where the Cape May County Tourism Department receives their award for the geocaching program they developed. Gov. Chris Christie will be in attendance this year as well to talk about the state plan’s going forward. Cape May County Tourism Director Diane Wieland says she hopes to hear a positive message from the Governor about his understanding for the importance of tourism to the state.
