TORNADO WARNING ISSUED IN SOUTH JERSEY

A tornado warning has been issued for parts of Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland counties. The National Weather Service has issued the warning through 4:45 p.m. for southern Atlantic County, northeastern Cape May County, and east central Cumberland County. The tornado warning goes along with the severe thunderstorms that are forecasted. The National Weather Service reminds people that the safest place to be during a tornado is in the basement.
