TIME RUNNING OUT FOR NJ TO APPROVE NEW BUDGET

Time is running out in Trenton for lawmakers to present Governor Christie with a new budget. A new spending plan must be signed into law by midnight Friday or a state government shutdown could occur. The last time it happened? 2006, when the shutdown lasted eight days.
