THOUSANDS OF HORSESHOE CRABS SAVED IN MIDDLE TWP.

Thousands of horseshoe crabs were saved by volunteers along the banks of the Delaware Bay in Middle Township last weekend.  NJ.com reports that the crabs were washed into roads and tidal flats due to unusually high tides, and they were returned to bay waters.
