THOUSANDS ATTEND LOWER TOWNSHIP'S FIRST BLOCK PARTY

The crowd was huge for Lower Township’s first ever block party on Saturday. Officials estimate up to 7,000 people attended the huge block party and green fair in Lower Township which resulted in a section of Bayshore Road being closed to the public. More than 100 vendors attended the event and many say they will return next year. The event was sponsored by the township, and by the Lower Township Chamber of Commerce.
