TESTA BILL WOULD PROVIDE BROADBAND SERVICE TO RURAL AREAS

State Senator Mike Testa has sponsored a new bill that would bring broadband internet service to rural areas.  The New Jersey Senate advanced the bill on Thursday, and it requires the New Jersey Economic Development Authority to offer loans to broadband telecom companies to expand coverage areas.
