TEST SCORES WILL BE — USED TO START JUDGING TEACHER PREFORMANCES

Teachers in New Jersey will begin to be judged on test scores in the near future. A pilot program is being implemented that will judge teachers on both test scores of students and classroom evaluations. The program will begin in select classrooms this fall and expand state-wide in 2012. This is apart of Gov. Chris Christie’s plan to link teacher job performance to how well students grade.
