TEENS CAN VOLUNTEER TO HELP NJ REBUILD FROM “SANDY”

Governor Chris Christie is allowing teenagers to volunteer to help rebuild the state after Hurricane Sandy. Christie announced this week that minors between the ages of 14 and 17 can work with nonprofit groups on housing construction through the end of next year.  More than 2,500 teens helped with the storm damage during 2013.
