There will be at least three candidates seeking the three Council seats available in the May municipal election in Avalon. Team Avalon 2021 had a campaign announcement this week, and the ticket is headed by current Council President John McCorristin. Joining McCorristin on the ticket are current Planning and Zoning Board Chairman Jamie McDermott, and Avalon teacher Mari Coskey.
