TAX RATE EDGES UP AGAIN IN WILDWOOD

The municipal tax rate is going up slightly in Wildwood.  City commissioners met last week and approved a new $27.9 million budget that raises the local tax rate by 2.5 cents.  The tax rate will climb to just under $1.30 per $100 of assessed valuation.  About one third of the public is allocated to public safety.
