SZCZUR GETS NUMBER RETIRED IN FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL

A local high school sports star is getting his number retired in two sports. In connection with tonight’s Lower Cape May girls basketball game (which will be broadcast on 987 The Coast), Matt Szczur will get his number retired in both sports. Szczur played at Villanova and is currently in the Chicago Cubs organization. Perhaps even more importantly, he has been a big supporter of bone marrow transplants and has helped inspire drives for this cause.
