SWEENEY VOWSTO CUT HEALTH CARE, PENSION COSTS IN NEW JERSEY

Senate President Steve Sweeney told reporters Thursday that his plan to reduce the costs associated with public employee benefits will be an end around of Governor Phil Murphy.  Sweeney is introducing a package of 27 bills that will address various issues, and would result in the appointment of an individual in each county to effectuate shared services agreements.
