SWEENEY TO INTRODUCE BILL TO CONTROL PUBLIC HEALTH CARE, PENSION COSTS

Senate President Steve Sweeney will hold a press conference Thursday to announce a new package of bills designed to control the amount of money the State spends on health care and pension costs.  Sweeney says if the bills are approved by the Legislature, New Jersey will likely be able to avoid the so-called “millionaire’s tax” proposed by Governor Phil Murphy.
