SWEENEY REMAINS COMMITTED TO ATLANTIC CITY FOR NOW

Steve SweeneyLegislators made a five year plan for Atlantic City to try and rejuvenate the city. One of those key leaders says its too early to abandon that plan now. Senate President Steve Sweeney was in Atlantic City on Wednesday and said he wouldn’t support any legislation that moved casino gambling outside of the resort until that five year period is up. Sweeney says at that point the conversation can be had on what to do from there.
