SUSPENSION HANDED DOWN TO VINELAND TEACHER AND CITY COUNCILMAN

A Vineland city councilman and a teacher at Vineland High School has been suspended. John Procopio was involved with an altercation with a student during a power outage at the school on Tuesday. Procopio was elected to city council at the end of last year. The school says it wasn’t physical, but rather a verbal incident. He has been temporarily placed on paid administrative leave.
