SURVEY: SEN. MENENDEZ’ JOB APPROVAL RATING GOES UP

More New Jerseyans are thinking that Senator Robert Menendez is doing a better job in New Jersey.  A poll release by Quinnipiac University on Wednesday shows that 44 percent of New Jersey residents approve of Menendez’ job performance; that’s up by six points over the last poll taken in December.  Menendez was appointed to the Senate seat after former Governor Jon Corzine resigned from the job; he was elected to a full term later that year.  Only 21 percent of republicans who were surveyed believe that Menendez, a democrat, is doing a good job.
