SUPREME COURT NOMINEE WITHDRAWN BY CHRISTIE

225px-ChChristieA nominee made by Gov. Chris Christie for the state’s supreme court has been taken out of consideration. Assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll had been nominated, but Christie withdrew Carroll’s name on Thursday. Many Democrats did not support Carroll. Carroll is going to seek his ninth term in the Assembly during the election this November. A temporary justice continues to sit on the bench while Christie and Democrats are at a stalemate.
