STRUCTURE FIRE DAMAGES HOME IN HAMILTON TOWNSHIP

A fire broke out at a home in Hamilton Township on Saturday around 2 pm. Police there say it broke out on the 6000 block of Cole Ave. Upon arrival it was determined to be a working fire in the chimney and the ceiling of the residential home. The Mizpah Fire Department; Weymouth Fire Department; Mays Landing Fire Department and the NJ Forest Fire Service were able to contain and extinguish the fire. No injuries have been reported. The Township of Hamilton Rescue assisted at the scene.
