STRATHMERE COULD SEE JITNEY SERVICE

The success of the jitney service in Sea Isle City has other Cape May County communities clamoring to get on the bus. Upper Township Mayor Richard Palumbo told the Gazette that Strathmere merchants were interested in jitney service on a limited basis. The township would first need to pass an ordinance to allow jitneys and then drivers could apply for their license.
