STORMS CRUSH JERSEY CAPE, CAUSE LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING

Many miles of local streets were flooded in Cape May County late Friday afternoon due to a huge thunderstorm that dumped up to three inches of rain in under an hour. Wind gusts approached 60mph and dime sized hail was reported in parts of Dennis Township during the storm. Many communities saw flooded streets including Avalon, Wildwood, Sea Isle City, and Strathmere.
