STORM UDPATE: 2-5″ OF SNOW AND ICE, MINOR TO MODERATE COASTAL FLOODING EXPECTED

The Winter Storm Warning and Coastal Flood Warning both remain in effect for Cape May County.  Accu Weather is calling for between two to five inches of snow, sleet, and ice with the snow starting early to mid afternoon.  Minor coastal flooding is anticipated at high tide just before Noon today, while moderate coastal flooding is possible during the high tide event shortly before midnight.  Driving is anticipated to be difficult during this storm event during the afternoon and evening hours.  Strong winds could bring tree limbs down into power lines, causing outages.
