STONE HARBOR: NEW LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION IN SUMMER

Stone Harbor will be getting a new and improved library. County Freeholders voted last week to approve a new structure to be built at 96th St. and the beach. County Administrator Steven O’Connor said the county is waiting on one final DEP permit before construction can begin. The target date for the work to start is July and will take about one year. Stone Harbor has a library but it is in a shared facility. This will provide the borough with a library in a stand-alone structure.
