STONE HARBOR FARMERS MARKET KICKS OFF TWO WEEKS EARLY

On Sunday the weekly Stone Harbor Farmers Market made it’s debut for the summer season two weeks early. Mayor Suzanne Walters said the weekly farmers market is so popular, that it was decided to start it up on the Memorial Day weekend. The mayor and other borough officials opened the market with a traditional parsley ribbon cutting ceremony at the Water Tower Plaza at 95th Street and Second Avenue. The Stone Harbor Farmers Market is held every Sunday through Sept. 4th from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
