STOCKTON’S PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE BID REJECTED

A presidential debate is not coming to New Jersey next year. Stockton College put in its bid to host one of the Presidential debates, but their application was not selected. The closest site will be Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. Stockton was among 12 finalists. Stockton had received a lot of support from local and state politicans, but the Commission on Presidential Debates chose four sites that had hosted a presidential debate before.
