STATE BALLOT QUESTION TRIES TO PREVENT RAIDING OF FUNDS

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgVoters will have a chance to stop lawmakers from raiding funds in order to balance the budget. There is one state ballot question that would put into the state constitution that it would be illegal for lawmakers to take money out of a worker benefit fund that it is dedicated for. The state’s pension fund has gotten into trouble because the state has been diverting funds. Answering “yes” would stop this practice. Answering “no” would allow for the raiding of funds to continue.
