STATE’S MINIMUM WAGE NOT EXPECTED TO GO UP

New Jersey will likely not increase the minimum wage anytime son. The Minimum Wage Advisory Commission announced just before the weekend that it recommends keeping the state’s lowest wage at $7.25 per hour. The big reason: New Jersey did not experience any significant inflation due to the national recession. The commission submits a report every year to the governor and legislature about the minimum wage recommendation.
