STATE WANTS MORE TOWNS TO HAVE RED LIGHT CAMERAS

There may be more cameras responsible for handing out traffic tickets in the near future.  The Star Ledger reports that the state of New Jersey wants to have 24 municipalities active in a traffic light camera initiative where cameras would record drivers blowing through red lights; those drivers would then receive a ticket in the mail.  Red light cameras are operating mostly in North Jersey municipalities, but Gloucester Township has them here in South Jersey.
