STATE TROOPER ON VACATION SAVES LIFE IN OUTER BANKS

A New Jersey State Trooper who was on vacation in the Outer Banks saved the live of a woman who was caught in a rip current.  State Police say Craig Kempinski saved the life of the swimmer in Cape Hatteras last weekend.  Kempinski hopped on a boogie board and navigated 200 yards to where the woman was trying to stay afloat.
