STATE SENATE COULD CONSIDER BILL TO ELIMINATE PLASTIC BAGS

The New Jersey Senate will entertain discussion on a new bill Thursday that would eliminate the use of most single use plastic bags in the state.  An initial proposal from Governor Murphy that would have taxed the bags failed, now a ban may be coming.  Recently Avalon and Stone Harbor approved local ordinances that ban the use of single use plastics next spring.
