STATE SAW SLIGHT INCREASE IN TOURISM REVENUE AFTER SANDY

Kim GuadagnoLt. Gov. Kim Guadagno said the state was actually up after Hurricane Sandy. Guadagno spoke at the annual tourism conference for the state in Atlantic City. Revenue in 2013 was up 1.3 percent. A huge marketing campaign was implemented to tell everyone that the shore was open. Many businesses locally said they felt the summer last year was off slightly because of the weather and after effects of Hurricane Sandy.
