STATE REVENUE NUMBERS SLIP IN DECEMBER

December did not bring the state the revenue they were expecting. New state figures show collections were off by about 9.1 percent and the state is about $332 million off for this fiscal year. Democrats continue to point to less than anticipated revenue collections as the key reason why a property tax cut is near impossible at this time. Gov. Chris Christie is continuing to push to create one in the state.
