STATE POLICE WARN PUBLIC ABOUT TELEPHONE SCAM

New Jersey State Police are warning the public about a new telephone scam.  Police say the suspects are calling people, alleging they have active arrest warrants and ask for a credit card to pay the debt.  State Police say they never call people to solicit funds to pay for a warrant or for any other purpose.
