STATE POLICE UPDATE BODY FOUND OFF TOWNSEND’S INLET

250px-New_Jersey_State_PoliceState Police have released the identity of the woman found off of Townsend’s Inlet on Friday. Coastal Broadcasting was the first to report a woman was found on Friday, just three nautical miles off of Avalon. Police say that Christina Tsiotsias, of Baltimore, was found there by a boater. According to police, she was reported missing in the area of Hereford Inlet on Thursday around 8 p.m. The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and North Wildwood Police responded to the crime scene, along with State Police. The call came in around 12:43 p.m. Police say there was no sign of trauma. Tests were being done over the weekend to provide cause of death, but as of Monday morning, the report had not been provided to Sgt. Steve Jones of the State Police.
