STATE POLICE ISSUE HOLIDAY SAFETY WARNING

250px-New_Jersey_State_PoliceState Police are warning residents to be safe out on the roadways this holiday season. During the 2010 Christmas holiday driving period, there were six deaths. Tragically, five of those fatalities were pedestrians. And this does not stand alone as a statistical anomaly. Seven of the eight fatalities during the 2011 Thanksgiving Holiday period were pedestrians. Troopers say they will be cracking down on aggressive and drunk driving and warn pedestrians to be careful this holiday season.
