STATE MOVES TO COURT IN AN ATTEMPT TO PREVENT SEISMIC TESTING

State officials are moving into federal court in an attempt to block seismic testing in the ocean near New Jersey that could lead to offshore drilling for fuel.  The New Jersey DEP and the Attorney general have joined a motion in federal court to block the testing.  Many organizations along the shore have opposed this, saying it’s dangerous to the marine environment and not tourism-friendly.
